Terms of use
Last updated 23 September 2026
By using Mend you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
What Mend is
Mend is a general-wellness coaching tool for couples. It is not therapy, counselling, or medical or psychological treatment, and it does not diagnose anything. Coaching replies are generated by AI and can be wrong, so use your own judgement.
Not for emergencies
If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services (000 in Australia). In Australia you can also reach Lifeline on 13 11 14 and 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732.
Subscriptions
Mend is available as a monthly or annual subscription through the App Store, each starting with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. One subscription unlocks Mend for both partners in a couple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when the trial ends, and the subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store subscription settings. During the trial you can send your coach 10 messages a day; with a paid subscription, 50 a day.
Using Mend fairly
Write about your own relationship. Don't include other people's names or anything you would not want stored. Don't try to make the coach reveal what your partner wrote, and don't use Mend to harass, threaten or control anyone.
Your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
